Oh man, I would read a trilogy of novels about this world - I'm happy that Sovann passed (although I like the subtle world-building with the idea of the social ranks and the extra privileges that come effectively through nepotism), but I'm itching for more of this world and to see what exactly being a Matriarch in this world entails.
